Loving the City
We love Raleigh-Durham. God has planted us here and we desire to serve this city in tangible meaningful ways. As you look through the current projects, the on-going partnerships, and our HelpIntheCity brochure, we want you to know these are some of the formal ways we are seeking to express our love for RDU. However, we also have families scattered all over the region seeking to love their neighbor where they are. From Downtown Raleigh, to Garner, to Knightdale, to Wake Forest, to Cary, to Holly Springs, to North Raleigh, to Durham, we are mobilizing an army. It is an army who desires to serve this city for the people’s eternal joy.
Acts 8:4-8 (ESV) 4 Now those who were scattered went about preaching the word. 5 Philip went down to the city [1] of Samaria and proclaimed to them the Christ.6 And the crowds with one accord paid attention to what was being said by Philip when they heard him and saw the signs that he did…. 8 So there was much joy in that city.
We are praying for much joy in RDU… a deep joy in Jesus.

How to Give
The Loving the City Initiative is funded by an offering where 100% of the money raised goes directly to expressions of love for our city. From improving living conditions of poor housing, to providing job training, to providing life coaching, to caring for those students about to drop out of local schools, this money will help fund dreams with hands and feet of love to help the hurting in the greater Raleigh area. Some of these funds will be used for neighborhood projects. If you have a project that would serve our city, use this form and turn it into the office to request funds.
