Kids Treasuring Christ
Vision & Caring for Your Kids
Our goal at TCC is to provide incredible opportunities for children to grow in their knowledge of and love for Jesus. We primarily seek to do this through structured, intentional training for children during both the Sunday morning worship time, and during our community groups that meet in homes throughout the week. While within these structures we diligently strive to provide the best environment and training for our children to grow in the Lord and develop positive relationships, we also realize that the most important teaching moments occur in the home. Thus, we make it our aim to equip parents for the incredible responsibility of training their children, as they are the primary teachers, and the home is the primary training ground. The home is to be the place where faith is on display in the every day and where worship through prayer, praise, and the Scriptures are to be foundational, much like they are in the church. So, at TCC we will provide an environment for fostering faith in Jesus through our structured teaching times, and we will seek to empower and equip parents to raise their children in the Lord as they intentionally disciple them in the everyday and model Christian faith. (For more on how TCC equips parents, please see the Families Treasuring Christ link.)

Sunday AM Care
On Sunday mornings children up to 10 years of age are invited to attend age appropriate, Christ-centered discipleship classes during the worship service. This time is structured so that children grow in the Lord through play, praise, Scripture, and a lesson designed to highlight Jesus and cultivate a love for Him. This time also serves to encourage and fosters extensive peer interaction, leading to positive relationships, so that children mature and develop lasting friendships. This PDF outlines what each age group will be learning on Sunday mornings.

Community Group Care
Community groups meet during the week in homes and are designed for children and adults to grow in their love for Jesus. Children are grouped together and receive care within community groups much like the intentional training they experience on Sunday mornings. Though this teaching may take different forms within individual groups in order to best address the needs of the children, the discipleship still focuses on Jesus and cultivating a love for Him through play, praise, and Scripture. This environment also fosters great peer interaction and lasting relationships.
Serving Families
Children and families have the opportunity to engage in periodic service projects together in order to foster deep fellowship and lasting relationships. These projects increase awareness within the children as to the needs of the community, and they provide an environment where children are able to care for others. Parents are welcome to attend in order to make it a family service project, or they may choose for their children simply to participate under the guidance of TCC leaders and chaperones. Opportunities include periodic nursing home ministries, as well as backyard Bible clubs, and other projects to be determined.
