Who: This service opportunity is open to all adults, as well as youth 13 years and older.
About the Service Opportunity:
Volunteers will serve in a variety of ways as teachers prepare for
the Fall semester to begin. Volunteers may prepare materials, decorate
classrooms, do very light construction, etc. This opportunity arose
from a TCC member’s care for a student and involvement in the
school. TCC has had several opportunities to serve at Hunter
Elementary School.
What About On-Going Ministry and Opportunities to Serve?
As TCC seeks to continually serve individuals at Hunter
Elementary School, additional opportunities will arise to provide
for various needs of the school, faculty, and students. One such
opportunity is a school supply drive that will take place on Sunday,
August 5 and Sunday, August 12 at TCC. We’ll collect
specific school supplies at the back of the worship service to
be given to teachers and students prior to the start of school.
Other opportunities will be made known as they arise.
