This week @ TCC: Colossians 3:1-10
Welcome to the preparing for Sunday blog post this week! Last week Pastor Sean started our Freed series by preaching from Exodus 14. He pointed out that mankind is in bondage, but the Lord is for His people and set us free from our bondage through Jesus, our mediator. If you missed this sermon, you can listen to it or watch it here.
This week we will continue our Freed series. Pastor Sean will be preaching from Colossians 3:1-10. Take some time to prepare your heart to hear God’s word preached by reading and meditating on the text.
This week in our service we will be spending time praying corporately for the Messick family as they go to plant their lives among the nations. And, of course, we will also sing praises to the Lord and rejoice in His salvation.
But I have trusted in your steadfast love;
my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
I will sing to the LORD,
because he has dealt bountifully with me.
Psalm 13:5-6
May we sing to the Lord, because He, indeed, has dealt bountifully with us! Here are some of the songs we will sing when we gather on Sunday. Take some time to listen to them to be ready to sing together!
