This Sunday: Exodus 14:5-14, 21-31
Thanks for checking out the blog this week. Last week we finished up our study of 1 Corinthians as Pastor Sean preached from 1 Corinthians 16:12-24. If you missed this sermon you can listen to it here or watch it here.
Also, check out this video of Ken Cheeseman’s story of how the Lord saved him. Take a moment to watch and praise God for his saving grace!
This week we begin our new sermon series, Freed. Pastor Sean will be preaching from Exodus 14:5-14, 21-31. Here are Pastor Sean’s thoughts for the sermon this week and the upcoming series:
Bondage is miserable. Being chained to our past or gripped by present sin cripples hope, stifles love, fosters self-focus and therefore crushes joy and mission. However in Christ we are FREED. We are freed from the many layers of bondage to our past and sin and we are released to be bound to Jesus and follow him. This week we begin a new sermon series entitled FREED. We will uncover the depths of our bondage and the joys of being set free from the story of the Israelites slavery and deliverance in the exodus. Come and invite others to discover a new identity that comes from trusting Jesus to give us FREED lives.
This week we will take the Lord’s Supper together and sing praises to our Great God. Here are some of the songs that we will sing this week:
- The Greatest of All chorus by Fanny J. Crosby music and additional words by Pat Sczebel Listen or Download
- Stronger by Benjamin David Fielding and Reuben Timothy Morgan Listen or Download
- All I have is Christ by Jordan Kauflin Listen or Download
- Amazing Grace by John Newton Chorus by Chris Tomlin Listen or Download
See you on Sunday!
