Preparing for Sunday e1314714303399 150x150 This Sunday: 1 Corinthians 16:1 11Thanks for checking  out the blog this week. Last week we heard Pastor Sean preach through 1 Corinthians 15:50-58 and Revelation 21:1-8. If you missed this sermon you can listen to it here or you can watch it below.

This week we will continue in our 1 Corinthians study.  We will be studying 1 Corinthians 16:1-11 together. Read Pastor Sean’s thoughts below about where we are heading this week:

In 1 Cor 16:1-11 Paul gives specific instructions on how the Corinthian can care financially for the Jerusalem church in their poverty.   He lays out some principles that should inform our generosity today. He not only presses in on the generosity of their finances but also describes his generous love for the Corinthians and calls the church to be lavish in their love toward Timothy as well.  Some lessons about our finances, our time, our words, and our prayers can transform us into people characterized by generosity. May God’s Spirit work in us the joy of generosity.

We will also sing to our great King together. Prepare your heart to sing and edify the body by listening to these songs we will sing together on Sunday!

See you on Sunday!
